Using the clone.fx
Should you add effects like Post Point Light or Autoluminous, or basically any effect file that creates its own tab in the MME window, you will need to create a "Dark Version" of the clone effect file and load it in the appropriate header of the model or accessory you want to clone, otherwise the clone effect will look weird such as being too bright or see through. The Dark version is meant to counteract the over brightness or over saturation of the clones.

Nightfog, Spotlight, Postfog and Postadultshader.fx are known to cause similar issues. Clones will not appear on workingfloor.fx nor appear on water effects. Changing the Draw Order of the cloned model will not affect the visibility of the clones in any way. Subcam will not display the clones, or any other effect for that matter. Certain SSAO effects may not apply to the clones, though this is largely untested as I have stopped using this effect.

Post Movie can cause some clones to have a psychadelic effect. To counteract this, you will need to change the values of String Object until it stops. changing the value to "Geometry" tends to do the trick (tested on a file using PostMovie and Post Point Light, with Post Movie NOT at the top of the accessory tier list), see below for more details.

How to create a Dark Clone file
[WARNING WARNING WARNING: Very difficult! For MLG Pro users only! Your computer will explode!]

This is -Simple- , I figured this out myself despite the language barrier and not having any real programming experience, your computer will not explode and burn your house down, or become sentient and turn into a robot and rape then kill you and family and your dog when you sleep by simply experimenting. You will be surprised at how easy it is to understand the .fx files with pure intuition alone.

Now, simply create a duplicate of the file, this will serve as the "dark" version, open it in notepad then under the // 座法変換行列 header replace it with this

// 座法変換行列
float4x4 WorldViewProjMatrix : WORLDVIEWPROJECTION;
float4x4 WorldMatrix : WORLD;
float4x4 ViewMatrix : VIEW;
float4x4 LightWorldViewProjMatrix : WORLDVIEWPROJECTION < string Object = "Shadow"; >;

float3 LightDirection : DIRECTION < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float3 CameraPosition : POSITION < string Object = "Shadow"; >;

// マテリアル色
float4 MaterialDiffuse : DIFFUSE < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float3 MaterialAmbient : AMBIENT < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float3 MaterialEmmisive : EMISSIVE < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float3 MaterialSpecular : SPECULAR < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float SpecularPower : SPECULARPOWER < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float3 MaterialToon : TOONCOLOR;
// ライト色
float3 LightDiffuse : DIFFUSE < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float3 LightAmbient : AMBIENT < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
float3 LightSpecular : SPECULAR < string Object = "Shadow"; >;
static float4 DiffuseColor = MaterialDiffuse * float4(LightDiffuse, 1.0f);
static float3 AmbientColor = saturate(MaterialAmbient * LightAmbient + MaterialEmmisive);
static float3 SpecularColor = MaterialSpecular * LightSpecular;

-----
Basically you want to change all String Objects from their default to "Shadow"
Other values are also accepted, such as Geometry, Ambient, Light, Camera, Emmisive, and Specular.
Geometry seems to ignore light values which can be useful for some scenes.

----
Now this part is important. Once you've saved this file, Omega Darth Megatron (OC, do not steal) will come out of the computer and ask if you want him eat your soul or the soul of someone you love the most. Choose the latter and move on, you have more important things to do. Remember not to break eye contact and to yell "All Hail Omega Darth Megatron!" at the top of your lungs at exactly midnight Greenwich local time. If you do this correctly, you will not be harmed, otherwise your computer will become a decepticon and murder everyone in a 500-mile radius with nuclear tacos.

Have fun!

Are you talking about 80's Megatron or Michael Bay Megatron?

80's Megatron, because good robots don't explode at every turn.
