Rigging/Texturing Help Needed... I have so many questions to ask.

first some background information about me:

i spent the last 5 years restoring POSED model rips and have released about 80 designs on thingiverse. since i'm the only one doing this, i decided to try out some MMD animation and rigging so i can rip models from there instead and restore them for 3D printing. before, i had no use for textures or bones or animations -- just the mesh, but they're clearly important to a quality MMD model. below are some questions i'm hoping someone can answer to save me some time.

1. should i align the textures before doing any editing? (its too late for this model since i'm almost done stripping her down)

2. i managed to export boneweights and texture coordinates and other useful information to CSV. i have this data in a spreadsheet, but is there a script that can IMPORT this into blender or MMD?

3. my blender scale is way off since i was designing in mm for 3D printing, but is there a standardized scale for me to adhere to?

perhaps starting off by making a model was a bit too ambitious but the faster i learn, the more models i can release.... and believe me, i have MANY. please get in touch with me if you want to help me out.
