Model ports from Koikatsu to MMD (in normal quality)

I know there is a pmx explorer for koikatsu, but it's just awful to be ported. A bunch of unnecessary bones, textures are white, well, and a crash in the mmd itself when loading a model. Are there any alternatives or not? And then I wanted to port one model of my own into mmd, but in the end it was a real trash, to be honest

It's a pain with a lot of manual work required. You have to import to Blender and fix the colors, export the recolored textures from Blender and then import back into PMX editor and rename bones, fix the rigging, physics, fix/add morphs. Blender exports each morph separate per object so you have to join several together (blink = iris + eyelash + eye highlight + etc...)

Check out "Export your Koikatsu waifu to Blender, Unity and more (Part 1)" on Youtube for a tutorial on importing the model to Blender, the later parts of the tutorial cover fixing the textures and color.

Whenever you export or convert 3d models from other environments to the PMX-editor, you have to edit it to eliminate everything that the environment outside the PMX uses and that the PMX does not use.
to suppose that there is some plugin that does everything perfectly in a magical way is to ask too much of the plugin authors.

i know, it's quite hard to port koikatsu models to mmd, and they end up being quite wonky, just like when you port VRoid models to MMD, they are still wonky. i don't think it would be possible for a koikatsu model to be exported into mmd, and then BAAM!

all morphs in the right categories, translated names, all necessary bones kept and unnecessary bones removed, every important texture exported, morphs fixed, that's just asking for the impossible.

also, the white textures are caused by the Bonelyfans material (the name kind of reminds me of OnlyFans) and no matter how hard you try you can't remove it in PMXEditor so you would need to use Blender to remove the material.

oh and some textures are white that isn't caused by Bonelyfans (eyebrows, eyelashes) so it's a bunch of problems you have to fix in Blender instead of PMXEditor. yes its frustrating but anything to port your koikatsu waifu into MMD!!
