[Idea] re adding Cloud / Remote & Embed upload , lower res display for viewing. & old browser support video player

just a suggestion, i believe this will be benefical to implement in the long run
============================================================
embed upload
previous version of tv had this very nice feature , where i can embed clips i already uploaded on another site .
benefit : many contributors uploaded their works of the same contents on more than one site , to lessen the upload works and taking less space on this site server storage.

cloud / remote upload
v-meo had this feature which is great for contributors with firewall country restriction and/or unstable connections [myself for an example] .
benefit : AFAIK only for contributors , resume-able upload , and SSL provided by cloud server to bypass any 3rd world country known obstacle.

lower res display for viewing
previous version of tv also had this feature
benefit : both visitors & server use lower bandwidth usage which equal to faster content load. of course the original works download is still present. downside would be server uses extra space for this feature.

adding old browser support video player
the best feature from the previous version of tv. some browser without html 5 support will not able to play video contents.
benefit : user with desktop old browsers and/or mobile devices can still enjoy the contents
downside : probably server will take extra burden for using more than one dedicated video player [i honestly clueless about this matter].

thank you for your attention.

cheers ~旦_(^O^ )

Video embedding is something we are currently working on and should be out soon.
Resumable uploads have actually been brought up, so thanks for reinforcing them. HTTPS is I think going live tomorrow.

The rest of it, I will need to find out what we can or can't do in long or short term.

I'd like to second adding support for older browsers and systems, ever since the migration I've no longer been able to watch any videos because I can't view html5.
