Multishadow effect

before I fall asleep and forget...
watching bene's video made realize that the moon didn't cast a shadow in it, and as a result, none of the models i've used casted any proper shadows.

so the question is: is there any effect in mmd that produces multiple shadows, in accordance to several light sources.
I use spotlight generator at 50% to effect the default lighting, but still have a semblance of a different light source, but I doesn't produce any shadows and moving the default one messes up the shading most of the time.

TL,DR. how do I make this in mmd.

Ray-MMD (Ray Cast) Shader has a Multi Light source option. The main light source is default lighting in MMD. You can add additional light sources. By default these additional light sources do not cast shadows, but with a small tweak to the settings they will cast shadows.

anything outside of ray?
I got an afterimage stuck on my camera after loading a light source, can't see anything.

Possibly IK_Polish Shader, but it has been a while since I have used that one. If you use Ray-MMD Shader make sure everything (including the stage and skydome) is a PMX file. For some reason it does not like PMD and X files.
